My 2-great grandmother, Clarissa Prevatt Davis, was born 9 February 1822 in Robeson County, North Carolina.  She married Jonas B. Davis in Decatur County, Georgia, on 23 November 1837; and died in Grady County, Georgia, on 21 Aril 1911.  Jonas and Clarissa lived close to and a bit to the south of Tired Creek Primitive Baptist Church... which was in Decatur County in 1837, in the eastern area that became part of Grady County on 1 January 1906.  Jonas served as First Sergeant of Captain Hawthorn's Mounted Georgia Militia in the Second Creek War.

Permelia (or Pamela) Prevatt Dawsey was born 11 November 1820 in Robeson County, North Carolina; married James Joshua Dawsey on 18 November 1837 in Decatur County, Georgia; and died in Houston County, Alabama, on 19 December 1891.

Sarah Ann Prevatt Holton was born in Robeson County, North Carolina, about 1831; married Thomas C. Holton on 17 January 1847 (place of marriage unknown to me); and died in Robertson County, Texas (date unknown to me).
